Our three secrets to making the ultimate umbrella are simple - it just takes time, engineering, and cost.
- Add more material - More material in the pole and thicker ribs mean a stronger frame.
- Use more ribs - More ribs means more support of the canvas roof.
- Test & re-design - We don't settle for "good enough", we constantly test and re-engineer our umbrellas.
All of our wind rated umbrellas are of equivalent quality, the only thing that changes between them is the size of the frame components that gives them increasingly more levels of strength.

Accessories
We have two different base options for our wind rated umbrellas. As strong as an umbrella can be, it's only going to be as secure as it's base.
In Ground Socket
Our In Ground Sockets are devices which secure cafe barriers, cafe umbrellas and many other products to the ground.
No matter how strong or well designed an umbrella is, without being properly secured it is still a safety hazard.
These are concreted into the ground, and allow the umbrella to be locked to it too, ensuring it will never leave the base.
Concrete Base
Made from galvanized mild steel, measuring 900mm square and holding four concrete blocks these bases weigh around 80kg. A larger version holding eight concrete blocks and weighing around 140kg is also available.
NOTE: These are custom made bases, made to order based on customers requirements.
Traditional Base
2m Umbrella Base - 500mm x 500mm
3m Umbrella Base - 600mm x 600mm
Secure them to the ground with dynabolts, or sit weight bags on top of them.
Weight Bags
Unlike most umbrella weight bags which are filled with sand our weight bags are filled with galvanised steel punchings so there is no mess from leaking weight bags.
Available in 10kg or 15kg sizes.
